Educational Resource Centre

The Penola Catholic College Educational Resource Centre is an integral part of the learning and teaching community.

It offers a wide range of print, audio-visual and electronic resources to support the curriculum and the recreational needs of the students.

It endeavours to develop a love of recreational reading through a diverse collection of books and the promotion of a culture of reading.

It promotes information literacy, in collaboration with classroom teachers, ensuring that students are empowered to be lifelong independent learners and confident users of information and technology.

At all levels, students are guided by the library staff in the effective use of libraries and their resources, the development of good study habits and retrieval skills.
