Languages Week
Languages Week in second term, was a vibrant celebration of culture across both campuses. Junior students enjoyed French crêpe-making, Eiffel Tower crafts, and a screening of Astérix aux Jeux Olympiques, while Italian classes watched Luca, sang Sarà Perché Ti Amo, and played Tombola.Japanese students took part in competitions for anime drawing, origami, cooking, and neat hiragana writing, along with music and film activities.
Senior students explored food culture through menu design, tastings, and films, with Year 10 Italians attending an NGV excursion and senior students performing a movement piece to Sarà Perché Ti Amo. Japanese classes shared a Bento Box lunch, and daily prayers were offered in French, Italian, and Japanese. The week concluded with a special multicultural staff morning tea. It was a week of food, fun and culture.
We look forward to the Language banquet to be held at the end of Term 3.
